Drive out (South East)

Ok it's been a while but I feel it's time for a members meet up and go for a drive.
The date is July 31st and we will meet for coffee at Bolney Vineyard 09:30 Then a drive across the Ashdown Forest dropping down to Michelham Priory. This is a lovely spot with over 800 years of history. A short drive from here to lunch at the Sussex Ox pub. Another short drive to our last stop at the Rathfinny wine estate. This 300a estate has great views to the coast as well as top sparkling wines.
The idea is to just get together with the cars we love and have a nice time. You can join us for coffee and come along for the whole day or just meet up at any point along the way. Just book your own table at the pub and we'll see you there.

Timings for the day are
9:30 Bolney Vineyard for coffee
10:30 set off on the drive
11:30/11:45 arrive at Michelham Priory
13:00 onwards leave for lunch
13:15 onwards lunch at the Sussex Ox
When we have had our fill we will make our way to Rathfinny winery for photos and maybe a taste of the sparkling wine. This maybe about 15:00 till we've had enough and then make our way back home.
Hopefully we will have had a good day and this will have been a nice start to being back out in our cars.

Thanks for arranging this, its a great idea and the roads around there are great. Sadly I dont have an MOT'd alp at the moment...hope you have a great time.

I could put the 610 nose badge on the Smart, I suppose and I still have RAOC clothing..
....yes, I still have it (E10 and ULEZ compliant) so its a long term keeper- so much that my son said today, hes planning to bury me in it, although they catch fire like alpines, so maybe cremation is more likely.
A610 is in storage, they need a weeks notice to get it out and its not run for 15 months so a MOT pass by 31st seems unlikely.

13.30 now fully booked at the Sussex Ox so make sure you get in quickly with 13.15 or 13.45

When those slots fill there is still 12.45 which just means leaving Michelham Priory slightly earlier.

I’m going to call the pub tomorrow and see if they will allow additions to bookings. For example a party of 3 would leave a space on a table of 4 that we could possibly happily fill. And I’m sure that individual bookings for one could also be combined. Fine weather will also open up the option of outside and the terrace.

Lunch can also be had at Michelham Priory. Then we can all meet at Rathfinny winery after, it's a shot drive from both.
