After a carb overhaul i have replaced some of the vacuum hoses to the carb, with the standard set up. The way mine was connected up appears different to the workshop manual in that the distributor vacuum advance/retard are swapped compared to the manual. So a bit confused on this.
I have also set up the carbs as per the manual and currently have a hesitation on initial accelerator press although it’s ticking over ok and progression beyond that seems good. I reset the throttle body angle, choke set up, replaced enrichment and accelerator diaphragms. The enrichment screw is also screwed out 4 or 5 turns which seems a lot to me. If anyone has any further advice on set up it would be welcome as I know they are tricky to get right.
