Looks like Alpine did a bit of a cockerel up with this door pillar,
how can you put metal so close to fibreglass without being treated or accessible??? French hey...... they really think of everything.... Come to think of it, all the renaults I ever had have always had some kind of hinge problem, the worst is the 11 Turbo, 21 Turbo and 5 GT turbo where the hinge is welded half to the pillar and half to the door, the pins wear the hinge, so replacing the pins dont really make any difference.
