I viewed a red turbo 2 years ago on the south coast just weeks before this site sprouted up.

It was front end damaged in Bognor Regis and the tow ball of car in front went straight through the GTA bumber and shunted the front sub-frame back on the n/s by about 8mm. "just needs a bit of straightening out...and glassing up of the wing" i was told. Pretty shocking state really, a cat had been sick on the passengers seat, as car was without passenger door. It had been laid up for about 3 years and the ali engine was all furred up on the out side.

I'd ask for some detailed engine pics if you are keen on it.

The guy has contacted me for parts about a year ago. It was given to him by a relative (bought from a scrap yard) as a crashed car. The engine is completely standard. Its actually missing the complete distributor, not just the cap.
