Laguna V6 on aftermarket efi (no need for throttle bodies) or R21 Turbo engine on aftermarket Efi

Turbo V6 is the best option, but as we know, expensive to get the full potential.

Both the other options are simpler and cheaper..

(The benefit of fitting the low compression Laguna V6 engine is it can still reap over 200bhp in normally aspirated form, and if the urge allows, you can add the turbo with no other internal mods required.

Obviously the exhaust valves are not sodium cooled but it will cope with a mild boost setup up to 300bhp, maybe even more - its cheap to experiment) :D

Supercharged 2.8

Postby Tony Smith » Wed Jan 04, 2006 3:37 pm

I saw an article on a supercharged odd fire 2.8 living in New Zealand, pukka rebuild with high boost was 400 bhp if I remember rightly. Supercharger better than turbo for track use
Alpines - GTA 3.0 Turbo, GTA 3.0 Inj (Project DD), GTA 6.2 V8 (500 bhp) , R32 Skyline GTR, BMW Alpina B10 635 Highline, Alpina B10 E39 5 Series, Jaguar 4.2 XKR, Laguna 205GT, BMW 120d.
