Or just a pic of the engine bay - the 24V markings are pretty obvious in the rocker covers....

Definately the real thing.

Tidy car apart from the bonnet damage and cracked windscreen as described.

Unfortunately the engine is noisy (fairly loud tappety noise from front cam cover-same cold or hot) As these engines have hydraulic tappets they should be quiet so the noise could due to the dreaded camshaft wear (£1000's) or something even more sinister.

Owner is aware of noise and puts it down to thin oil from previous owner.

He is looking for around £700 to end early.

Rupert. Is your 24V running yet? How quiet is it?

Not yet running!
Think I have to pay more money...
Have been watching this 24v closely as well.... he didn't mention the tappety noise to me - typical.
Still worth a punt tho'
not at £700

He said a guy in Plymouth had called him. I said that must be Rupert!

I thought it was worth about £500 until I heard the engine. :(

Have you actually heard it - I mean been to see it?
Or did he just tell you about the tappety noise?
