Pete you just need an inlet air temp gauge like one of these now:

http://www.courtenaysport.co.uk/default.htm?page=17

About 2/3rds or the way down the page. I'm not so convinced by their chargecooler - looks a bit clunky in comparison.
I'm just here for the gasoline.

...still don't get it. :roll:

the atmo hillclimb car was not running it's best on full throttle, so a wee trip down to the RR and 1st run the power was X, by the 4th run power was up 20BHP! after some simple alterations and 1 days work = £150 :wink:

well worth it i thought, and there is more power to come with a new mapable ignition system. not really interested in total BHP figures but i do want to know that what i am doing is increasing the power, not guessing that it's getting better.

i do agree about all RR not giving the same figures, so best to stick with someone you trust who's interest is to give you back a car that is running at it's best. :D

thats what i am saying. don't quote RR results as they are not normally correct, the point is that improvements have been made and the power has increased.

i also fitted a distributor with no internal mods and there was a loss of power, lower than the 1st figure X, so that to me is quicker than fitting things and going for a drive to see if it is better/quicker.

also you have an actual read out of fueling levels, if you are running too lean or too rich, something that you cannot tell without a RR until it is to late, i.e. melted piston/valve.

Should therefore be an 0.?0 of X then, not 20 BHP :lol: :lol:
X = 50 then :D :twisted:
x = 500 :oops: :cry:
