Yes ...sorry
RR's are great for confirming performance mods ,but their accuracy leaves a lot to be desired .................

Do RRs ever get calibrated, like a speed camera does ?
Or are they more like Alpine speedos........ never-calibrated !

I have had my winter car (gmc syclone) RR tested and it was messured HP 322,92 torque 390. and the g tech HP 319 torque 394. damm close i think. i will post my alpine readings at spring time....

not really interested in total BHP figures but i do want to know that what i am doing is increasing the power, not guessing that it's getting better.

Its a chargecooler. Every car that has ever fitted one has always showed a significant gain, even more so if its rear engined....anyone would think I was marketing some new fandango contraption that had never been tested before...

I will be fitting one to my J7R engined GTA, so I can give before and after readings for those who want them.. :D

RR figures are notoriously inaccurate   especially if the cars got the wrong engine in it, innit .
I don't doubt the cooler will improve matters no end, but it would be usefull to know by how much and whether the std cooler has any further role to play once the new unit is fitted .The only way we'll know this is if it's tested in a std GTA .
