GTA wing mirrors

Postby peterg » Sun Feb 05, 2006 9:15 pm

Pair of em (or may split) in good cosmetic order. The drivers side mirror motor worked last time I tried as did the passenger side....although since then the passenger side has been knocked off....so no guaruntees for either. You will need to open them up to re-fix the wires to the motors as both have been dismantled since the passenger side one was knocked off to compare the wiring......but got hastily put back on and I forgot to plug the wires back in and havent been bothered since!! They are black.
PM me.....£40 the pair plus a £5 p&p.

Similar but on slightly longer stalks! You'd be suprised how good the GTA looks with no wing mirrors....very sleek...but no use at MOT time!
No one need a pair of mirrors?? Come on people....think ahead!

No....the car has gone too far down the raceway to put it back to standard. I intend to keep it for at least a few years more and when I do sell it it'll be as a hillclimb or trackday car thats road legal not as a sophisticated sporty GT car that it started life as.

funny thing

Postby mikegta » Tue Feb 14, 2006 1:31 pm

Well the other day I came back to my BLACK GTA to find a mirror hanging off. I managed to push it back on the clip thing but the plastic bit that holds a fixing screw has shattered.

As I have a very narrow drive they may be a good insurance policy anyway.

Ideally I'd like some suitable folding types if anyone has found any suitable?

There are a few here, no idea if they are any good and how or what they can be attached to.
