Paypal

Postby simontaylor » Thu Feb 09, 2006 11:01 pm

Anyone a Paypal expert?

Like most suckers I mostly buy from ebay, but on acassion I have sold too.
My Paypal account is linked to a bank account.
When I sell, paypal passes the money to the bank account and I get charged for it (35p for a £4.50 sale), by paypal.

Is it possible to make my sales proceeds stay in the paypal account, all £4.50 of it, so that I can spend it all at a later date?

Thanks in advance

Yes, don't withdraw it and just keep it in the Paypal account..

It seems to withdraw its self, or did I click on a Withdraw button.
Thanks DG, I will have to have to take a closer look next time.

Simon,

you get charged 3.4% for money you recieve in, nothing to pay out a for something you've bought, but when it comes to withdrawing i think the minimum limit to transfer out for free is £50, anything less than that they charge you a handling fee, so let the money build up before you withdraw it

Ar Ha!
Now I know why it looks like I get charged fees of 7%.
Up to 1,500 GBP it is 3.4% plus 20p.
It goes direct to my bank account with no withdrawal charges and I'm guessing that this is because I am a verfied user and verified my bank account.
