Postby Mikael » Tue Feb 21, 2006 12:27 am

My old idle control valve went up in flame last year when i had a engine fire (craked fuel line, bad leads) :( . i have bought a used one from a saab, but i am not sure how to connect the wires, so some help would be nice.

I can't remember the colours but the centre is the 12v supply, and the two outer wires go to earth to open and close the valve. As long as you have 12v to the centre, you can experiment with the two outer ones, nothing will blow up or go wrong..
