I just want the big bloody brake conversion before my season starts.....any news there?? Oh no......its all ECU ECU.....stupid ECU, load of rubbish mumble mumble mutter tut tut etc :lol:

Calliper remount with 300mm discs......been bothering David for them for about a year now........and they are almost with us.....I think, fingers crossed for my season!!!

sound good,i know when i did this sort of conversion on the 5 it did improve them by quite a bit they were 285mm though,how much if you dont mind me asking

Its what the Europa cup cars had too....except they only had 285mm too....so they should be excellent. I dont know exact prices as they weren't finished last time DG went to see his brake man, but I believe it will be around the £600 mark for front and rear, although that probably wont include pads.....I'm sure DG will beable to clarify things when he has them done.
I thought you were on a power quest.....you could have cams for less!!!! :D

Only half my seaon is uphill for starters....but its generally wise to have good brakes when going from 70mph straight sections into hairpins!

285mm brakes would only be 26mm bigger than standard! It would barely seem worth it.
