GTA's for sale!

Postby rupert » Fri Jul 22, 2005 8:38 am

I have an F reg atmo for sale, last owner for 10 years, in very good condition. Black velour seats, (tan leather available), currently fitted with twin triple zenith carbs, samco hoses, and a stainless exhaust. Very quick. Fitted with Air Con - just serviced and regassed with the 'new' gas. £3650 with the carbs, £3250 with a standard carb

I also have a E reg 1988 turbo for sale, that I have owned for 11 years. Samcos, Stainless Scorpion exhaust, Air Con, Tan leather, £5500.

PM me for more details

Are you keeping a GTA or are you bailing out altogether? The Atmo sounds like a neat machine....If I had room I'd take you up on it...bet those triple carbs sound lush!

Nice part of the world with great roads and very good Alpine clubs.
You'll be buying another one locally soon

Would like to. There are a few around for sale on the mobile.de website.

Not sure they will be much fun in feb when the weather gets to 20 below zero!

I did spot this while having a trawl though.... http://tinyurl.com/avjek Can't be many of those lying around, not that I would know.

I haven't seen a single alpine since I have been here, more 911's than you can shake a shitty stick at. If I saw this one however, http://tinyurl.com/dbx6x I would feel obliged to run it off the road. Definately not my kind of thing....

Find the local Alpine club, they'll know what's available and good value.

I know what you mean... I had my Red A310 in Munich (for a year) as my only car for transport. Do what the locals do, buy a cheap workhorse for the winter and then have an Alp as the summer car.
You'll need another workhorse every winter as the salt kills them.
Lots of Alp owners have had 25 V6s and stripped the useful mechanics off ot in the summer

JoeDawber wrote:I haven't seen a single alpine since I have been here....

How long have you been there?
Join a club. They have some mega events.... and they like a beer as well

I'm sooooo jealous.......

Only been here about 6 weeks now.

Will have a look around for a club, I am sure they would know of decent ones for sale.

Got a mate who lives over the border in france (Mr_B of retrorides who you may know, if your the same alpineandy!!). He is on about buying a knackered old farm, so if he does that there may be the opportunity to shift my GTA there and crack on with it in the weekends. Its a class drive over there through the mountains too.

Well the atmo has gone, but the turbo is available.
Currently located in Northen Ireland.
Has four new tyres, correct Michelin rears...
Front panel now repainted to get rid of paint fade and chips.
Needs h/l glasses.
Otherwise a top car, IMHO.
(No plate not included.)
£5000

There are 3 GTAs on ebay at the moment. All 3 are Red.
1 Atmo in Spalding, 1 Turbo in Lancs and another turbo in Tonbridge.
The Tonbridge one is Jon Bs. It's condition is A++ if anyones looking.
