The 'amazing' new M3

Postby rupert » Tue Apr 11, 2006 1:37 pm

Well BMW now have put a 400bhp V8 into an 3 series to give it IMHO somewhat unimpressive performance...
0-60 in just over 5 seconds and 155mph (ok so top speed is limited) but...

Hang on this is what my GTA turbo does..... built 20 years ago....

It must weigh a massive amount.

Thats progress for you!!! I suspect the Beemer will be quicker mid-range and a whole lot more comfy, better specced, better built.....but 10 times the price and a lot less fun!!!!

It needs GTA traction. It needs to be rear engined. They could always try 0-60 in reverse  probably be quicker.
