Diagnosis help

Postby red leo » Mon Apr 24, 2006 6:57 pm

Just got in from work leo sounds as if he is dying.
Increased noise from rear passenger side and major vibration at about 70+ vibration is realated to speed not revs. Noise sounds greater on a trailing throttle.
If I ghit the right rear tyre there is a rattle could it be bearings?
Help most appreciated

No need to replace both, just the one, any vibration should be sorted asap as it will only reciprocate to the box or hub..

Well you can see more of the inside than out, need just a few creature comforts to impress the girls (grannies).

Just a dumb thought (as usual I hear you cry) but have you checked the wheel nuts are all good and tight?

A loose wheel would make all the wrong noise and rattle too.
I'm just here for the gasoline.

I'll second that, I know from experience. The only other short term fix is to just turn the radio up a bit more.
