Water Injection

Postby peterg » Tue May 02, 2006 7:41 am

I know we covered this topic a while back, but it seems to have become quite cheap of late and wondered what peoples thoughts on it were. Where would the injector(s) go (I'm talking turbo) and how much setting up does it need?

Placement of the injector can be a problem, because we do not have a decent sized plenum, and can end up pooling water in certain areas instead of being a decent atomised spray.

There is no hard and fast method of setting up, it just needs to be experimented with on each car to get the best results. It only works above a certain inlet temp, on your car with the CC you probably would not see any gains.
