What are the GTA Turbo Discs and Pads Off.

Ie. an Espace or 25 like the Atmo, or are the Discs the same as the Atmo.

My friend works at EuroCarparts you see.

Thanks.

Oh, and no one got back to me about the fuel filter. :-(

Discs are the same all round and the OEM version on late cars are unique to the GTA. 22mm thick.

In practice everyone fits Espace discs that are 20-21mm thick.

This means in theory your brand new discs are on the wear limit as soon as you fit them but they are usually better than crappy scored or warped ones.

Pads are R5GT Turbo front and Citroen BX (fronts!) on the rear.

Again in theory the OEM compound is supposed to be unique but in practice no one seems to have any problems with £10 pads!

I have 3 or 4 sets of cheap rear pads if anyone needs them. Not worth posting though due to weight.

.

..the originals will be 22mm and have a min thickness of 20mm, and the 20mm R25 discs will have a min thickness of 18mm - theyre not 22mm discs skimmed down, they are different castings..

I know that

I mean they're prone to warping straight away as they are starting off thinner. That's why Renault upped the thickness to 22mm almost immediately.

The 20mms were already warping under heavy use. 20mms worn down to 18 would probably stand no chance!

32mm... the only way to go

32mm sounds heavy.... and it is unsprung weight! I suppose this is offset by the better braking?
