You do know the same engine (abeit in lower tune) is available in the late Grande Espace and Vel Satis - maybe easier and cheaper to find (er..maybe... :? )

"Salvage...... 350Z Hard rear"......will do nicely thanks or........a spare megane trophy..... or world series single seater engine will do with appropriate ecu of course...... mated to a clio Trophy gearbox will do the trick 8) and plenty of £$€£$€£$€ should help the project along.......

 yellow doner car is ready to accept it........ anyone want a spider engine inc ecu and sequential box :?:

as you have overlooked, one lap wonder Peter, Trackday Andy has 2 race spiders and one road one...... three just in case you couldn't work that out....... one race car can stay as standard if I want to race it as it is still in Spider Cup race trim as original since it was raced in the UK series ecept headlights were added for a race at the circuite de Sarthe...... (the blue one)......... and the yellow one can be a project for the V6

well and the road car...... engine is tuned enough.... just need a six speed box for it to complete the job...... sun's out...... which spider shall i take out today :?: :?: :?:

already been done without great success, the main problems were heat.....

350 horse from the v6 will be enough....... the biggest problem is getting the power to the ground........ it's alright having it but if you can't use it........
power is nothing without control :!:

Hello Andy and everybody,
I am the owner of this yellow V6 spider, I'am happy of the interest you have to my spider.
I've choose a v6 engine, because it's much more easy to use on the track than a turbo one, and because none has done it before.
I use my spider on trackdays only for my pleasure.

I dont think you need to worry until you have about 500bhp......they had it under control on the earlier models....only became a real issue towards the end when they needed 500bhp to outrun the Delta S4 and insane 600bhp batman style Quattros.

Not so much the power as the roational mass.
I had a Matra precess in mid air whilst running as service car for brother during Scottish rally. Went hairing down road with spare parts, met a yump. Scariest moments of my life :D BIG chunk of flywheel in the old Matra lump !!!

Not if its done properly.

Ive seen a few of the Spider turbo installs, I think most of the people were just happy to get the turbo on there, rather than planning a pukka system in the first place..

Welcome Antoine..

I was talking to a colleague on FAR a while back about V6 installations, and I mentioned your car to him the other day, as he was greatly impressed.. :)
