Er I don't think anybody will get close to my audio set up. Steve has all the modern head up display and DVD player. But over a kilowatt at under 1% THD through high quality components takes some beating in a GTA.

Apparently access to the club stands closes at 10.00am.

For those of us down south we should probably aim to arrive at around 9.00am to be on the safe side.

For those that would like to travel the last part in convoy I suggest meeting up at Toddington services between junctions 11&12 Northbound on the M1. This is approximately halfway from London.

To arrive at Bruntingthorpe by 9.00am we would need to leave Toddington services by around 8.00am. This could be a little later depending on traffic.

We can of course keep in touch by mobile.

ICE.... I'd much rather hear the sound of an engine.

Surely the acoustics of any front room are better than the inside of a tin box, or even a plastic tuperware one?

Look at the 21T chairman in his R21 Turbo, 0-60 in 5.88, 2WD as well...

His quarter mile was 14.4, and he's done a 13.2 in the past, almost the same as the Evo at the top...

I think the quarter mile times aren't that bad for the old things ,in the top 50 out of 220 odd :D

I think explusion from the club for all those over 7s

Tony did quite well. Unfortunately if you look at his graph he changed gear at 56mph (up into 3rd). This added about 0.5s to his time. Otherwise he probably would have beaten the factory time.

Well done to those brave souls that had a go!
Where were the rest of the GTA experts.
Yeh Yeh..... all sorts of reasons (excuses), probably like me...... in the garage all over the floor, but now I'm back on the road, firing on all cylinders.... I'm doing a track day tomorrow.

Last year I used a gtech unit and hit 60 in 6.18 seconds. Dropped the clutch @5000-ish, changed up to second with right foot planted solid to the floor and just hung on in 2nd till it registerd 60. That was my first attempt. After a few more runs the times never bettered and were getting worse, probably heat saturation as I was just stop starting up and down the dual carraigeway.

What did they use to measure the 0-60 times at the show?
