Thats a lot of bling in one engine bay  !!!! It'll go down a treat at McDonalds   Is it more laggy now youve added the CC and about 3 feet to the pipes? Dont think your over boost is caused by that or moving the dump valve. The dump valve will still work the same and the system should still be closed. Must be a leak....surely???

The rad is bolted to the main rad with spacers to ensure it doesnt accumulate heat when stationery. The fan is in front pushing through as you guessed. Its the ideal position as far as I can tell.....it flows lots of air and its easy to fit. The pump is under the floor next to it on the passenger side of the car. Now the system is properly filled it stays coll to the touch at all times. Have had lots of problems with airlocks in the past though!
The filler is now the highest point of my system so if it does heat up a bit and spit some water out its easy to refill when cold....without the dreaded airlocks!

It's nice to see some routing exactly as I'd thought about doing it on a DeLorean :-) You guys are so locky not having a thumping great AC compressor in the way on the left rocker cover. Grrr.

BTW you shouldn't have the dump valve downstream of the intercooling because the dumped air is wasted meaning it's cooling air you're not using - not that probably makes any measurable difference!

Overboost would be wastegate related, not dump valve....? Unless it's overboosting when you come -off- the throttle?

I truly expected a "flux capacitor" reply form you Martin, rather than a winge about your AC compressor.

Junk the AC, it is just weight, gulps fuel and slows you down.

You really need to experience the interior of a black DeLorean on a hot day. Remember our piddly little windows. Did LeMans last year and we would have all died without AC, and having just got back from Chicago and a 2000 mile round trip from New Jersey, the AC is staying!

You're just jealous becuase it came as standard on all DeLoreans :P

Unfortunately not, Alpine for sports mode driving ( no major compromises) and daily driving in luxury....Lexus LS400 (no major compromises either).

We did the WSR event in Le Mans last year, windows down all the time, luckily we were not stuck in traffic, or else the drivers would have boiled over.

The Air-Con does not compromise the car at all. in fact it improves  it............. got more weight up front so better balance = better handling   .
 All I'd need to do ,to save fuel and reduce drag for a sprint ,would be take the belt off the compressor then put it back for the 8) drive home
