Dont think your over boost is caused by that or moving the dump valve. The dump valve will still work the same and the system should still be closed. Must be a leak....surely???

peterg wrote:The rad is bolted to the main rad with spacers to ensure it doesnt accumulate heat when stationery. The fan is in front pushing through as you guessed. Its the ideal position as far as I can tell.....it flows lots of air and its easy to fit. The pump is under the floor next to it on the passenger side of the car. Now the system is properly filled it stays coll to the touch at all times. Have had lots of problems with airlocks in the past though!
The filler is now the highest point of my system so if it does heat up a bit and spit some water out its easy to refill when cold....without the dreaded airlocks!

Unfortunately not, Alpine for sports mode driving ( no major compromises) and daily driving in luxury....Lexus LS400 (no major compromises either).
We did the WSR event in Le Mans last year, windows down all the time, luckily we were not stuck in traffic, or else the drivers would have boiled over.
