Could be the linkages, but you need to get the rear end pretty high to get under the forward end of the box, and it is quite tight in there too.
I lost 1st and 2nd, it was the linkage and was fixed pretty quickly. I could see what was a drift, but I undid the 2 linkages and made sure that they were all free and working, then put is backtogeter, much better than originally now, as reverese even works 9 instead of 5 times out of ten.
For me it was the linkage that bolts on that had slid forward and the fulcrum ball had come out of the socket.
