wel as the 5 will be going in the next week, time to get a new car,
wel i had hoped for a GTA but i didnt relise how much they cost,
and as i only have 3k and will need a car its not looking good, so it looks like im going to get a c reg 944 2.5 lux,
and then i shal try and save up for an alpine,
i thought they may hav been a few ruff ones in my price range but when you want one there nowhere to be seen :(

that looks nice,i would keep ur options open dont just look for an atmo in my opinion the atmo is under powered with only 160bhp and after jumping from a 200bhp gtturbo will prob feel as fast as a bus in a straight line even my gta turbo didnt feel that quick compared to my old 5 probably get a roasting now for slateing an atmo  never been a big fan of n/a cars cost to much to get decent power :(

hmm, I took out a friends Griff 500, and wasnt that impressed really.

He then drove the atmo and found it picked up far better from low rpms with more low end torque, but to give the TVR its due, the gearing is far longer than most cars so this could be the reason...

0-60 in 4 seconds..... long gearing you need it 0- 100 in 10 seconds... ERRRR I don't understand :?: but don't give me a 10 page lecture on it.... stick to arguing with martin

also depends how old it was....... if it was a pre 96 model it would have had the crap gearbox......which all early model Chimeras and Griffs suffered from.

mine was a HC..... more horsepower than standard and I can tell you no GTA would keep up with it on an autobahn, this thing was FAST :!: the scary part was when it hit 170 mph on the autobahn the steering was very light as the front was lifting off the ground and problem was it still had more left in it   ....... but I didn't fancy a dice with death that day
