Make sure you completely cover it in fuel or it probably won't start .

If you wern't tinkering and fixing your car, would you be doing anything more interesting instead.

Get a woman, get married, get her pregnant, be nagged at, have kids........
...... You will be missing your car now!

Keep your pecker up Justin  I had the same feeling a couple of weeks ago.... You get it sorted eventually, even I managed to fix mine (almost commited suicide with a fuel spillage  though) and I'm useless with fixing cars....

You dont know how lucky you are....I would love just to tinker, but I end up ripping the whole thing apart twice a year!! God its stressful.....but I'd be bored without it!
When the rings went on it and the oil caught fire on the exhaust manifold I didnt bother putting it out.......thought - oh well its probably for the best.....then it went out of its own accord  Wont even do the decent thing and die properly!!! Ive taken it as a sign that I'm meant to rebuild it :?

You don't need to douse it in petrol. If it's anything like mine it will set fire to itself without the need for any intervention
