If you had fixed a car up with glue, would you advertise it as so.
I'm surprised peterg did not tell us how many tie wraps were holding the ends on too!

I think that was a picture of it before it was involved in that head on accident involving the artic lorry......either that or the blind guy who rebuilt it with ice lolly sticks and UHU glue did a much better job than I heard he had!!!

Phew, glad you didn't say "just before it reversed into the one behind writing it off"

I'm sure that was the one Paul took to Croix 2004 and he didn't go on the circuit because it was for sale. I know he liked it alot and didn't really want to sell it, but he needed the cash.

Yea i can understand that as it is great fun to drive, but his loss is my gain i suppose, this car has its little niggles ( dont they all ) but it has a strong heart and hell, you just fall in love with GTA"s . I wounder if i might find some pictures of the 2004 Croix drive?, was it an Alpine owners event?. These cars are massively undervalued in the U.K .

croix is organised every year by the ASAN club in france Associatio Alpine Nord) it's their annual circuit meeting, normaly costs €100 per car for non members of their club and you get 6 x 20 min sessions on the track...... much better value than the trackdays in the uk :!:

it's a good day if the weather holds, its normally the second weekend of september but this year it's the second weekend of october...... so a bit of a chance on the weather,

also if you are a club member you can have a discount on Eurotunnel travel to the event..... you'll save your membership fee straight away 8)

Sounds good, how many from England normally go?, is it easy to join the club?, if it is then maybe next year i could make the trip too.
i"ve done a few kart races and driven a couple of single seaters on track and am itching to do a few track days. plus it gives me a year to get the GTA track ready.
