I'd look at getting your clutch well and truly sorted first!
I'm just here for the gasoline.

Ah yes....you'll be talking about Tony jameson Allen....he is a top bloke. He only just got the Ferrari this year!!! He needs to spend more time making his T2 work first I think :D
I'm not actually removing the manifolds incase the studs snap...the bolts look welded on and fragile......sorry!
I dont think the manifolds are the main problem...its the chunk of pig iron under the turbo with siamesed intake port that will defeat any efforts with the manifolds. The other problem is the location of the trubo. Its always going to be too hot and restricted where it is.

How about swapping the manifold over and then we can mount the turbo at the rear end of the engine :?:  :?:  :?:

The outlet ports from the head are 33mm inlet diameter and the link pipe that lead to the turbo are 38mm diameter. As you can see, straight away there is a problem, as there are 3 33mm ports and only one 38mm link pipe..(and 38mm is horrendous to start with)

As Peter said, just doing the manifolds is pointless. You need to have a new 2 into 1 turbo backplate made also, and this all needs flexijoints otherwise its all going to crack the moment any serious heat goes through it..
