Practical Classics and Mr. G

Postby empty » Tue Sep 12, 2006 9:58 am

Any1 seen the article in Practical Classics September issue?
Features a heads up 'tween a Nissan 300ZX and Apleen Turbo and shows the fisog of the infamous Mr. Gentleman (who supplied the car)
Good article "So, is this PC's comparison twin test a complete mis-match? Well yes and no. With a sensible head on my shoulders, I'd buy the Nissan blah blah. But when has sense ever prevailled blah.. I'll take the Renault Alpine GTA, thank you very much."

If this has already been covered then forgive me!

I'm sound mate cheers. Yes we'll have to try a NW meet again if poss. Pity you didn't make Donington.

What sort of leak have you got? Coolant? As long as you've caught it before it's done any damage. If it's coolant and leaking from under the inlet manifold into the V could possibly be from the large short hose or the smaller blanking bung on the back of the water pump. A nuisance to get to but don't be afraid, just unbolt all the plumbing above to get to it! :)

Juzz
that looks exactly where it is coming from and yes it is coolant.
You just cheered me up m8.
Its in a local garage but I trust the guy and its good to know there are hoses behind there.
Am off to Silverstone for Brit Superbikes so will report on Monday.
thanks for the input.
