***pats head*** I know, dear Actually the 24v cams come out towards the timing chain end. Very useful in a transverse car..... not
The ability to remove the back end is very handy which it comes to things related to rocker arms because you can slide out the bar and change out rockers -and- access the camshaft - but not to remove it. I've never said you can change the cams in the car, you can't without cutting holes. But you can change the cams without taking the heads off if you have the engine out and you remove the rockers. We went through a phase of eating rockers on our stage II engine and changed out several sets this way.
