Alpine Parts Clearout

Right, Im going to be having a parts clearount, as I'm moving worshops very soon to a different location with more facilities and an acomplished Renault technician so I can finally offer rebuild, restoration, and tuning facilities for Alpine and RenaultSport vehicles..

Basically, I have numerous spares filling several rooms and alot of it needs to go as its just going to be a hassle to move it all..

For example, I've got sandblasted subframes, wishbones, all body panels, all interior panels and trims, seats, centre consoles, glass, wiring, engine parts, transmissions, seals and rubbers, all electrical items, wheels, hubs, driveshafts, glass....bloody everything!

So please post up what you need, no sensible offer refused..

Need the following parts mate, hopefully you can help, not able to relieve you of much floor space though!

Gearlever Surround (Which houses the window switches and cigarette lighter)

2 x Electric Window Switches

Jack and Wheel Brace

Spacesaver Wheel with good tread.

Glovebox (Newer style and not been prised open with a screwdriver )

Engine Bay Cover Carpet.

Heatshield on left hand side on the engine below the dipstick (To protect the spare wheel).

Also may need the rubber breather pipe from the fuel tank going through the bottom of the boot and out through the rear undertray (if that makes sense!).

Anything else I'll let you know.

Hi David - I may need a voltage regulator - believe this is integral to the alternator and need to buy as a single unit? (got to do some testing first to be sure this is what I need but voltage definitely fluctuating).

A set of pedal rubbers.

A motor for the l.h electric window.

A set of wiring diagrams - been trying to contact the club admin e-mail address for these but no answer. Really need these.

Intermittent window wipers timer/relay (not exactly sure what component this is - haven't found it yet - maybe fused as wipers come on constantly instead of intermittent - advice appreciated as to what I need and where it is).

Luggage strap - the "V" strap behind the rear seats.

How much for a carpet - preferably black?

May need a fuel flow meter - need to check why it's not working first.

If you could let me know what this lot would cost then I'll see what the budget will run to.

Hi , I’ve just purchased a GTA Turbo and I need a few parts to get it through the NCT (Irish equivalent of MOT
1 windscreen wiper stalk - washer not working
faulty potentiometer - co adjuster broken
rear window support rams buggered
windscreen wash level indicator faulty
drivers side mirror glass- it only lasted a week- someone got a kick out of that.!!!

Ther is also a water leak which is showing under the inlet manifold on the LH side of the engine block (water sitting in the V of the engine ) Before I strip it down to establish teh problem can you advise if there is a gasket which I need to replace between the inlet manifold and and head of can you use gasket seal instead - If a gasket is required can you supply one ?

can you help with second hand or new parts for above (new gasket preferred)

Hi, welcome!

All the parts you've mentioned should still be available from a Renault dealer, at a price! And you might have to wait a while for delivery.

Have you checked your inoperative washer is not the motor at the washer bottle?

If I remember correctly the inlet manifold is sealed by three rubber O rings on each side and you should be able to re-use them depending on their condition. I might stand corrected on this though, I'm not sure!
