does anyone know if a 3.0 24v (rebuilt) will hold for more than a week with a turbo on (low boost) ? i am looking for 240-260 bhp.

I can do you a 400bhp Spider engine Andy....
Exchange too, as theyre already built up......
As for the 24v, who knows?, it depends how well you do the conversion..

There's also the option of the newer F4R as used in the 172 Clio and Megane 225, with the option of binning the original 225 restrictive exhaust manifold, turbo and fly by wire throttle, and turbocharging that with better spec componentry. Even on low boost, high compression, 250bhp is available minimum with only 5 psi of boost.

Just seen David`s post of 1 Nov and compared the rolling road test with my 24 valve.
At 210 km/h along the horizontal axis, the graph line goes well past 240 KW on the vertical axis and just touches the top of the graph area. Sanspeed said this equated to 225 bhp at 6500 rpm.
The engine internals are standard apart from no balancing shaft!, no cat, custom made tubular manifolds & exhaust.
