Well last year we got no awards due to a technicality.

This year we should get them so probably more worthwhile. However the ceremony is quite lengthly (90mins+) and in French.

Last year there was a buffet afterwards.

I guess a few will want to go as it is a weekend away in Paris.

We stayed at the Hotel Trypp which was very reasonable and near Renault.

I'm going to ask for a list of exactly who has achieved what award for the British clubs.

Here's the official list of trophy winners.

Bear in mind that some people who registered for the trophies but didn't get enough points have still been invited to the ceremony eg Joe Salama.

David G got enough points but didn't fill a form in so he might be a bronze also with a little persuasion.

Renault Alpine Owners Club :

Stephen Dell (bronze)
Andrew Holt (bronze)
Tony Law (bronze)
Paul Draper (bronze)

Renault Classic Car Club :

John Pigeon (bronze)
Robert Pigeon (bronze)
Michael Stokes (bronze)
Fred Parker (bronze)
Roland Poole (bronze)

Clio V6 Owners Club

Mark Garner (bronze)
Kevan Slater (bronze)

I'm organising the trip now. It looks like out at 10:59 on Saturday morning and return at 22:33 Sunday. £38 return with the special discount.

Trypp hotel in Paris on Saturday night. 80 Euro.

If you want to go let me know.

Thanks for that Stephen, we have already booked and different hotel. See you there I guess. Do you know, is there a dress code for this event? and is it a Gala type evening or what?

I normally wear a suit. Buffet/cocktail party after the (long!) ceremony.
