and more expensive! When I do get round to changing the GTA it will be for something like that single seater.....the performance is just out of this world, and even the roads in Cumbria are starting to get busy and risky to really use decent performance on.

No one likes an open car in the wet! I would still sprint and climb...imagine that car on a 7ft uphill stretch of tarmac with barriers either side.....would take spare underpants to events!

You can get them-there speedy SSs for a lot less than £12k :D I used to go to a lot of club races ,Monoposto series .You could buy and run one of them for a couple of seasons for 12k + it's real the real wheel-to-wheel deal ,
Do you think I could get 10k pass the missus if I manage to sell the house and buy her a REALLY big bar of Fruit'n'Nut :?:

I could get an old FF with an 1100cc bike engine in it for £4k and it would be speedy.....but not 280bhp of Cosworth race engine speedy. Of course if I really really wanted speedy and money was a bit easier to come by.....

The engine is an ex F1 item.......now that would be FAST!!!

Djets aren't great race cars unless you've got very very long straights to race down. A+ aerodynamics but narrow. An A110 or Europa (or elan if you want to be boring) would be far more effective. Having said that, I want one purely because it looks soooo good!
Alpine A110, Renault Safrane 2.5dt, Hudson Kindred Spirit (Renault powered), transAlp (Honda) and Ducati Multistrada
