being OS & all it'd be hard for me to justify the fee

The problem with the C.A.R forum was their fort Knox security. It was so damn secure, even paid up members had difficulty to log on.

it does cost money to keep the thing going beleive it or not....... without enough paid up members..... the forum would cease to exist.... so a token fee just to use the forum would help out with the running costs

I dont even think thats it....I got access when I was in CAR last year, but hardly ever posted....there was no buzz, banter or discussion on it.....very dull!
As Andy pointed out....nothing is free!
