Yes but not in my possession.

The loom, front track rod ends, instruments, front calipers and gearlinkage were removed before I bought it.

Apart from the engine the rest all looks new.

Reputedly built by or at Noble.

I need to try and get it started this week to assess the condition of the engine.

Is there a list of engines that mate up to the UN1?

I am told that the Lexus/Toyota V8 will match the UN1 box with a bell housing adaptor plate and some of the state side tuning boys have supercharged their lumps. Its a compact block, no bigger than the PRV.

I suppose i depends if an adapter plate is available for the engine you have.... i heard you could even get one for a renault 2 litre 4 pot engine.....

At present bellhousing adaptors are available for:

Rover V8/TVR (easy to get hold of)

Cosworth 2.0 Turbo (harder to get hold of now)

Yank V8s (easy to get hold of)

Renault 21 Turbo (easy to get hold of and done)

Toyota / Lexus 4.0 32v V8 (OZ sourced)

Nissan V8 (OZ sourced)

Or anything you like really, with a billet adaptor plate.

Nah, Lex V8. 4.0 32v, quad cam, cheap and plentiful 260-300bhp as standard depending on year. 330bhp with tuning..

600bhp quite easily with turbocharging, turn your input shaft into a slinky.....

Is lighter than a 2 Ltr Pinto (some crappy engine Ford developed the Cossie lump from LOL) Cheap to tune??!! .......however if you dont have the weight you dont have to move it
