I checked the availability of the one on ebay and it came up as approx £50 + VAT on the Renault system

Price of the front panel comes up just short of £700 I had the same trouble 18months back with the insurance company when there repair centre got in touch with renault they got back the 6k price! It took an hour with my local and thankfully helpful renault centre parts dept phoning about to find the part number Stephen has had been superseded that number is for the Renault badged cone which is no longer available but it still took 16weeks to arrive after it was ordered.
Front panel part no. 6001019012 £701.44+VAT From Renault.

I'm guessing Peter will repair with all good second hand parts but he just needs the costings for the insurance company.

God I'd hope so - what a rip off for a big airfix model kit. How much do wings for other Renaults cost where they have used polypropelene (I think Clios and perhaps Lagunas have them)? Are they more or less expensive than you'd expect to pay for metal?
