Blowing past the piston rings .I think that maybe the case .Mine was doing the same as yours .When I stripped it the pistons and heads were coated and I had some very wet plugs .We'll see if it's now sorted soon I hope .

Aah, Dipstick plug it is then :lol:

I'll clean the breathers again, it doesn't do it all the time only occasionally and the plugs are fine.

after a season, the piece of rag i had wrapped around the top of the dip stick tube is completly soaked with oil.

I have a rubber bung ready for this year. I'll be plugging it and fitting some sort of retainer so that it does not go missing if it falls out.

seriously, i had mine pluged for years, without anything bad happening. a piece of silicone hose with a bolt (aluminum of course) in it does the job.
