GTA or A610 wanted for PPC magazine buyers' guide!

Postby edhall » Mon Feb 12, 2007 10:43 am

Hi everyone,
I write for Practical Performance Car magazine (www.ppcmag.co.uk), and we're looking to cover the Alpine GTA and A610 in our seven-page buyers' guide.
As such i'm looking for someone who owns such a car and would like to have their car shot in John Colley's studio in Derby within the next couple of weeks. We'll be able to send you a disc with all the shots taken, which, in the studio, look fantastic.
The car needs to be clean and tidy all round, and not white or silver.
If you're up for it, please get in touch with me as soon as possible - my E-mail address is [email protected].
Thanks in advance.

They are usually presented in the magazine on a white background so a white or silver car would look lost on the page.

I could come over in my Red Turbo but I won't have the headlamp glasses changed in time (looks a mess :? ), do you want a standard car as mine and most others have 17" aftermarket wheels on them?

IMHO it should be a near standard car, as its meant to be a buyers guide type thingy.....but a set of nice wheels as opposed to standard would look good. I also think it ought to be a turbo.....a couple of atmos have already appeared in mags in the last few years.

The PC tripped over and I got 2 posts

Do you think they'd know the difference between a GTA and an A310

Indeed, the car can look as good as current machinery with a few subtle mods - don't want to push it into the realms of a pipe and slippers classic..
