Seized wishbone 2

Took a hacksaw to the wishbone bolt and off it came! :shock:
Has anyone got a spare bolt i can buy off them?? :D

seems like you are in a situation where the hacksaw was a bit of an extreme measure. Did you use any penetrating oil, impact hammer or any heat or freezing fluid.

Did you try just leaving the nut on the end of the thread to protect the thread and banging it out added with plus gas with penetrating

Try ruin u for the bolts I got mine within a couple of days :wink:

I tried everything that i could to get it out,but to no avail. :evil:
Heat,shock,penetrating oil!!
I will get the wishbone in a press and along with heat i'm sure it will go.I had the same problem on the rear and the press soon sorted that out!! :D

I do not believe the bushes are able to be pressed out of the front lower wishbone I tried.
