Look what I found...

Postby Stunned Monkey » Tue Apr 03, 2007 12:08 am

Hi All

On the way to go Karting last week, I took the DeLorean to see Kevin at GTO, had a look around his place and look what we found...

Image

It's raced by his son Lee, and features one of his 6 speed boxes, and is pushing 300hp apparently.

He told is in great detail exactly how he ended up doing the strengthened UN1 gearsets, LSD's, 6 speed conversions etc. Interestingly the original 6 speed gearset came from Williams, complete with drawings (at a price).

Sorry - the car wasn't really in a position for me to take any. I did take a snap of the gearbox, but it looks like, errrm, a UN1. And a bit of a drippy one too!
