wheel weight

Does anybody know the weight of the GTA wheels or the AZEV wheels, or the comparison weight of the wheels.

Ask Simon Taylor or do a search on the boards, he wrote down some of the data.

99% of aftermarket wheels are heavier than the originals....

GTA front wheels with 205/50/15 with 95% tread =15 kg

GTA rear wheels with 225/50/15 with 90% tread =18 kg


If any body's got their Azev's off the car could they weigh them

Sounds like if I stay under the weight of the AZEV's I'll be alright.
What I am trying to avoid is picking a style of wheel that is heavy .
With so many designs you want to make sure your not increasing your unsprung weight too much.The wheels I was looking at felt very heavy and I wanted to make sure it wasn't excessive before I purchace them.
