Website Issues

Postby stephendell » Thu Sep 14, 2006 11:54 am

Hi, I've had a few problems with the website over the last few days (you may have noticed disappearing gallerys etc) and have now extensively republished.

If you notice anything odd or missing pics/files, please refresh the page. If the problem is still there please let me know so I can fix it.

Thanks
Stephen

the index for the photo gallery is all a bit weird (but works ok).
never thought I would want a list but now find myself needing one just to remind me: Clio V6 230, 5 gt turbo, 5 Gordini turbo, Megane RS 300 Trophy.

The main page banner is missing.

Also, when I click on the thumbnails in any of the five most recent photo galleries, to view a bigger picture, I get a 'Page not found' message.

Steve, see if you can bring the overall width and height down on the botton left frame, so it does'nt require the scroll bars.

the hit counter looks a bit of an amature job, dont think you really need one.

Now I understand why it takes so long and so many trys to get into it at work.
Plus my home machine keeps warning me about the site tring to install things.
Most 'non computer' people (like me) don't like downloading from a site, and especially one they've never visited before.
If I hadn't been here before and got that warning on my PC I'd close the site and wouldn't go back.

Yes I think I'll have to change to a flash player or remove the slide show.

It must be possible to have a simple slideshow without a download.

Any one there with the know how or any advice?
