Slightly bigger injectors ,15% .3 bar MAP .No need for a 0-5v TP ???
Have got a bigger turbo in the pipeline but want to get it running as it is .

How much bigger? You can highlight and tweak the entire map by a percentage, you'll be within a few % of correct, certainly enough to be safe.

3 bar map sensor, if it's GM type, I can give you the figures, it's the same as Tony's. I calibrated it his with my mityvac.

You don't need the TPS, no, although it'll allow you to get better throttle response if you can wrap your head around the settings. You can use the zero limit switch to turn off the injectors on overrun. I can tell you a Venturi 260 doesn't half pop and bang if your throttle isn't *quite* closed!

Have you got a laptop? You need a PC with a working serial port and lead... Are you around one (week) day next week?

Lee, you really want (need) to do it in the car.
Not only do you need the ecu map uploaded, but as you can see.... there are a million and one settings and you will want to change a few of them as you go along. Just take your desktop out to the garage, you might as well because you'll soon need power for any laptop anyway (I now have a 12v adaptor for mine).

All I did was to load "peterg"s map for his 220 injectors, even with my original 185 injectors. She started first time.

Then I increased the fueling for the whole map by 15% and it still started and ran. After that, I installed the 440 injectors and halfed petergs fueling, again it started 1st time.

You can change individual settings while it is running, but loading a whole map while running often causes the motor to stall. It takes about 90 seconds to load a whole map.

Did it start 1st time for you too?

Just for now, I have taken mine off till the end of the season. Then I'll have more time to fine tune it. I have a particular hicup when I initially take off and the car stutters for a monent, where as the Renex is completly smooth, so I know its doable.... some-how.

214cc, peter had 220cc, so the map should be sweet.
I email it to you.

Just get it started.

I got my serial lead off ebay, because the USB lead I had seemed faulty, Item number: 170134646195.

Lee, the serial port has 9 pins in 2 rows. Normally a monitor port has 15 pins in 3 rows. Get the right cable or it wont work. All I can say is that the cable I purchased fits and works.

As for the garage, pure luxury mate, could not live without it (them)!

If that socket is blue with more than 9 pins it's for the monitor. Your laptop may not have a serial port if it's relatively new in which case you need a USB to serial converter, I think I have one spare if you need it?

Ohhh hang on  The Drivefart cable

If I connect 12V to pins 1+ and pin 2 - on the 8 way that'd power it up to upload off the car ,yes ????
