I trust met-check more than BBC!

Cold and damp.... perfect for the blowerboys.

The weather forecast has changed very day this week for Friday.

IT has been predicted as sunny, cloudy, rainy & hazy !!

No one is predicting any rain tomorrow until the evening so finger crossed we will be OK. Also should be the warmest day this week regardless of the cloud.

even met check are not predicting "cold and damp"
never thought I would want a list but now find myself needing one just to remind me: Clio V6 230, 5 gt turbo, 5 Gordini turbo, Megane RS 300 Trophy.

Martin Guard Venturi 300 Silver 6.0s 13.8s 115.9mph NT 15.6 @ 100.0

* Previous Test
NT = Not Tested

I haven't confirmed this with the manufacturers but the figures for the unmodified cars would seem to suggest a correction factor of approx 6% to 7% for the power figures due to the wet surface.

For example that would put the 400GT output closer to 390 bhp

Stephen, GREAT DAY! We all had a blast and there was every different PRV 'flavour' on offer to sample. The rain held off although the track was very damp to start with and went entertainingly greasy later in the day.

By the way, a stock DeLorean is around 130bhp with all of the emissions and restricted exhaust. I had a free-flowing exhaust and no emissions and thought you mentioned some results that came out at 150-160bhp?

Thanks for inviting us Stephen. We all had a great time. Conditions not perfect so this would be interesting to see the results when done on a dryer surface.
A good result for the Venturi's.

But the times recorded by the gear come out at equating to 130bhp though. Andy's standard A310 atmo was faster etc...

V6 255 figures on the test meter that we used were
6.9 secs for 0 - 60

136 mph by the way, it had reset by the time I got back :!:

Look forward to next time 8)
