Finally got the car passed/complied and now on the road registered.
Its the ninth one to reside here in sunny OZ so i am told.
Bit of drama getting it here however thanks to Stephens help it was made alot simpler.
It is an 88 red turbo with Azev C's, Injen piggyback/Forge blowoff/ART Race exhaust etc etc. Goes like stink and very happy with it.
Had it in for a noise test the other day and one guru thought it was a Fiero...another said it had a dash like the old X-19. Yes, it is not a well known type of car in these deep "Deliverance" parts of the world.
The last 3 days i have spent under the car with sprinklers/high pressure hoses etc. getting rid of the UK salt buildup.....then fishoiling the lot.
What has been the most fun is undoing every nut and bolt on the car and derusting it and greasing the threads. At the same time am doing all the earths. Gave it a cut and polish and now happy as a dog with 6 tails as it came up a treat.
Other Froggies in the stable...Clio 172, Xsara VTS, 205 16v Turbo and just to prove to the neighbours i'm not a complete Nutter...an Elise.!!
