Thermal Switch

Postby clee » Sat Jan 26, 2008 10:04 pm

I have an intercooler spray/mist unit that I want to activate via a temp sensor .The wiring is all there in the loom as it used to control the engine bay fans 8) :?:
I need two sensors as per the old setup ,one for warning light and one to activate .These need to read charge temps ,so prob placed in the throttle plenum or idle valve feed .
What type and where can I get them ????

Cheers Steve .The Adaptronic can do it using the existing sensor says Blocksi 8) Just need to sort the wiring .I think I'll do all the groundwork then take a little trip up North .

Got the spray unit this morning 8) 8)
Can't wire it in to charge temp as it only lasts for about 3 mins then if it goes dry it burns the motor out .It'll do the biz for a quick blart down a strip or up a hill though ..................Better than a CC as it only weighs 1kilo
My eldest is on battery duty ,no school today as their generators bust
