Threebond liquid gasket 1194

I've bought some of this to seal the crankcase and also perhaps help seal the liners in addition to the solid seals .You don't get a nozzle and the compound is quite runny .It's not like a conventional silicon sealant ,says to apply as thinly as possible but I'm not sure how thin is thin .Anyone used it ?

yes i have used this on the diff on my RS500 cosworth didn`t find it that good, had to re-strip down to re-seal. i am not saying that it isn`t any good it could have been the way i used and applied it, but i did follow the instructions

Hmmm ,right ,thanks .All the instructions say is , as thinly and uniformly as possible .How much did you put on ?
You should see how far I can make a nob of butter go on the boy's toast :lol:
