I'm sadly having to sell my GTA on

Postby Stuart maranellohouse » Tue Apr 15, 2008 8:28 am

Hope no-one minds me posting this here as I can't post it in the for sale section as I'm not a paid member, (which I would have been had I been keeping the car).
The sale of my Fiat Panda has fallen through, "which I'm devasted about as I was relaying on the funds to pay for the GTA", I am having to sell it on. I don't want to but needs must.

It's a full mot. I'm just looking what it's standing me now which is £2350

If anyones interested please ring me or email me to [email protected]. Photos and all the info on it is here http://www.maranellohouse.com/alpinegta.html

No Jibes please as I'm smarting enough.

bad news about the panda sale.

also bad news about gta sales, alot of the same cars are still unsold, be they on classic cars for sale, pistonheads, car and classic, ebay etc.....

my advice........ keep plugging away at the panda sale!

my bet is you will lose more money advertising the gta.

try selling the panda on www.carzone.ie the irish seem to like them!

good luck with selling the panda!

I've had the Panda posted up everywere I can think of to no avail. It's at the right price and top spec. Just no money around it seems.

Not even getting a bite, well apart from the usual "I'll pay you by check what is your last offer" emails, for the GTA either. Crazy, £2200 for a fully Mot'd GTA that just need the paint looked at and nothing.

Wee moan over :)

I have it on good authority that the car's sold... because the new owner, well known in the DeLorean community, and customer of mine, rang me up to ask about parts :D I'm sure we'll be welcoming him to the forum shortly.

I know it's going to a really good home.

If you had seen it before we started pulling it to pieces, you might not be so quick to comment.

Well thats the car away. Alastair (the new owner) will I'm sure, be along in a while to join in with his new purchase.
Funny the things that go through your mind when a car you went all the trouble getting and really wanted to hang on to, pulls out of your drive.
However Alastair's a real enthusiast about it and already making plans for it, plus it's only going up the road a little so I'll see it taking shape. I'm happy with that.

Needles to say I'll not be posting now just as often but I'll drop in now and then to say hi.

Whats your point? Richard always said that the wreck was never worth £2500. The one he is selling is complete, MOT'd (in NI which is important) and all one colour......
