Starting Problem

Postby BIG_MVS » Wed Apr 23, 2008 9:51 pm

I had a slight problem that today when I took it out for a blast in the warmer weather the car would not start again from warm. It did eventually go but it reminded me of what the prev owner told me that he had issues with starting in the past as well.

This is the first time it's happened in 6 months ownership and probably the warmest day since I have owned it.

Had a good look in the search facility and come up with faulty TDC Sensor?

Is there anything else to check before I source one, bad earth, dizzy or anything else?

Cheers guys.

Unplug the coolant temp sensor and see if it helps (LHS of thermostat)

Also, the air temp sensor (front face of throttle body)
