Yeah, i now realise it is the one in the adverts here. Sold for £13.5K! Would have snapped that up had it been now! Who bought it then? Surely not Mr Waudby?

Was about the right price to be honest. There is a road car for sale on the bay at the monent for £16K (the wrong price) which the guy bought for £10,500 (the right price) at the ebay auction about 6 months ago trying to make a few quid. The race car on the bay is also about £17K can't see it going for that. £15-16 is okay if it has a newly rebuilt engine and especially box. Not many around it's true but also no championship to race in where they'd be competitive. Heavy you see.

tend to disagree the Ian morris car has no spares with it just one extra set of wheels engine refresh and gearbox rebuild just a ballshot selling tactic, are you going to open up the box and engine to check, he might of changed the liquids and the filters and belts no more than that, £15-16K you are a little out on that one i think seeing as yours was the last one to sell and granted it was road registered doesn't make it worth anymore, if it was actually on the continent for sale it would easily sell for that price but they won't venture over to the uk to buy unless the price is mega cheap, i sold my yellow race car 6 months ago and it needed work and i still got way more than what your's went for as i sold it in France no spares just 8 wheels with it .....

Wohhh what email??

Unless it got spammed but I even check my spam box daily, I gobsmacked, I'm sure I've not missed anything, not exactly in my interest to ignore an enquiry is it, but really sorry anyway really not in my nature to ignore people.

Hi Ian,

Pleased to see that you have signed up for WSR Silverstone.

Make sure that you bring a for sale sign with you!

Why not try an advert in the classifieds on the site in the meantime?

Hi Stephen

Thanks for that, I assume then, that I have a place reserved in the enclosure so that I can plan the weekend. I certainly plan to have some "for sale" vinyls on the car and lots of flyers that people can take. There will be a space in the passenger seat for the parade laps if someone wants to "experience" it running.

How secure is the enclosure if I wanted to leave it there overnight, or do all cars have to be removed at the end of Saturday?

Ian, I have seached for this, maybe it was not an email as such, maybe it was a piston heads contact the vendor message, to tell the truth I cannot remember! All I know is that I never got a reply. who knows...still might be tempted......
