French Car Show Returns to Rockingham on 22nd June 2008

Postby frenchcarshow » Sat Apr 12, 2008 11:17 am

Hello

Adrian Flux French Car Show in association with Fast Car is all about standard, modified, tuned and performance cars, RWYB circuit and a touch of the race car scene.

Lunchtime entertainment sees Paul Swift Precision Driver and other demos. We have a few nice hardcore surprises again on track this time such as Peugeot touring cars and more.

The 2.6 mile International Sports Car long circuit which has infield, part banked oval and the grandstand straight is by all accounts an awesome track. We will be using the hot and cold pit lanes as well this year.

Other attractions include Meguiars Top 25 French Cars, 80+ car clubs, Trade village with tuners, manufacturers, magazine stands, the flux babes, ViP Lounges, fantastic free entertainment with Adrian Flux and eat as much popcorn as you like.

Tickets are only £12.50 in advance and £15 on the gate (under 12 free). ViP Tickets are only £20 including entry.

We do have limited track time available on our shop at http://www.frenchcarshow.co.uk/shop

Hope to see you there on our eighth year. If you have any questions please drop me an email at [email protected]

Hello

Postby frenchcarshow » Mon Apr 28, 2008 8:13 pm

Hope some of you guys from RAOC can make the show this year.

The show I am glad to say has grown and we have some really great displays and loads of track action.

Renault is fully behind the event now and we are delighted to have a full on display from the Venturi Owners Club in the RS Tuning Trade Village taking centre stage.

Awesome Venturi Stand at FCS 2008

We have some special stuff at the show this year including drifters, serious stunt driving, V8' ASCAR.

These may appeal to you guys here and many will have seen them/know the the owners.

I cannot wait to see these cars in the flesh and we should have five in the RS Tuning trade village on the day next to the Meguiars Top 25.

Are we the star attraction all of a sudden? :D

Note to self: must reassemble those bits of the interior still in the boot...

one of the emails I got back from RAOC last year was too many bodykits in 2006. I think thats where the comment stemmed from.

This year we have loads of track, motorsport displays, live action and Renaultsport.

Might go to this, but if we have no RAOC stand where would I park?

I can't do Prescott, WSR etc due to our 2nd child being due on 30th May so this might be a goer. Anyone else up for it from here.

I might invite old ED China along, give him a break from his workshop

hello all

Its Chris miller (rtoc chairman), currently we are selling tickets to help rebuild the forum as it has went down, after what looks like our host company had went bust. Im hoping this will be a good place to advertise as it is another reno forum with a good bunch of people so if you need tickets we have opened them up to non-club members for the same price.

French Car Show, Sunday 22 June
With 11 day to go before FCS we still have 49 track tickets in the club shop. For £40 it will gets you 1 hour open pit from 10:00 – 11:00. Please remember this is highly subsidised so you are effectively getting 1 hour for £2.50 more than what people are paying for half an hour. It’s the 2.6 mile circuit ( http://bookatrack.com/-pV?31 ) as you can see in this link. This is the direct link to the FCS track tickets
http://rtocshop.simplewaysolutions.com/ ... ucts_id=61

If you have any questions then please pm me,

Regards
Chris miller
